Scoring Systems:

• ???: When your pick participates in a match, gain points equal to their number of votes. Whoever eliminates your pick is designated as their nemesis. For subsequent rounds where you chose that same pick, you will gain points based on the number of votes cast against their nemesis until the nemesis is eliminated. The entrant that defeated the nemesis becomes your pick's champion, and you will begin to gain points equal to the champion's votes. If another entrant eliminates the champion, they become the nemesis, and the process repeats.

  Loss streaks will also give exponentially stacking multipliers to points earned based on the vote share of your pick in their elimination match. When a nemesis is eliminated, this multiplier resets to 1.

  Note: this is an experimental system that I came up with mostly on a whim. The goal is to give less popular characters a chance and also ensure that your vote has an impact.
